Nnamdi Kanu has been granted bail. The presiding Judge Binta Nyako gave the order to allow Nnamdi Kanu attend to his ailing health.
However Justice Binta Nyako has granted the IPOB leader bail on conditions including that he presents three sureties, one of whom must be a serving senator, a Jewish religious leader and a highly respected person who must own a landed property in the Federal Capital Territory.
The bail sum is N100m per surety.
Justice Nyako warned Kanu to make sure he meets other bail condition giving to him. Which are;
He must deposit his international passport to the courth, He won’t be allowed to grant press interviews, He won’t also be allowed to hold rallies and he won’t be in a gathering of more than 10 persons while on bail.
She warned him that the bail would be revoked if he flouts any of the conditions.
She, however, denied bail to other persons arraigned with Kanu, stressing that the treason charges against them is a serious offence.
the Ekiti state Governor was also present at the High Court to show support to Nnamdi Kanu.
Mean while there is massive jubilation ongoing. Residents of Aba, Abia state have trooped out in Jubilation after the Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu was granted bail.
