The Efi Lake fishing Festival is an event that is Performed by the Efi People once every Seven years In Sabagreia, Kolokuma/Opokuma local Government Area of Bayelsa State. This festival is done to appreciate the goddess of the River for plentiful they always get during their annual fish harvest.
This is an occasional festival is celebrated as directed by the Chief priest. Its a 3 days event that started on the 25th of May and will end on the 28th of May 2017. Other entertaining cultural activities includes boat regatta, canoe riding and fishing competition.
Sons and daughters of the town and visitors return to witness the cultural festival and are free to purchase assorted kinds of fish of various sizes at affordable prices
